Recently...

Ah, it's been close to 2 months since the last update.
I can't really recall in detail of what happened but I'll definitely remember that I've been hooked by the Korean Wave through Dae Jang Geum (more hooked to the show actually, but I'm getting more interested in their culture now), steamed up my internet connection to 3500 Mbps, learnt to appreciate and write Chinese calligraphy, realised that listening too much of music through earphones will hurt the ears and drove the President's National Day Parade rover.

Dae Jang Geum will always remain in my list of Inspirational Lift-my-spirits-up movies and dramas. Jang Geum's relentless enthusiasm and iron will reminds me never to wallow in self-pity and doubt, and to live life with ethical principles and sincerity. The particular scene where she cared for all the sick children infected with chicken/smallpox solo with a motherly warmth reminded me of how powerful and touching loving-kindness can be when practiced in life.

Calligraphy was astounding, never mind that I wrote badly. As Mr SR Nathan puts it, it really clears your mind! A perfect outlet for the troubled mind of mine, often plagued with minor politicking and demands of my shift drivers. How I wish everyone just works in harmony. Luckily I believe I'm seeing improvements after some talks. Tai Chi's just as wonderful as Calligraphy by the way.

Alright, it took me a lot of energy to blog this. I'll stop here. Pretty much explains for the lack of posts. Heh.
