Pongal Revisited.

And it was far more crowded than expected.
The atmosphere was quite like an Indian New Year and they were giving out free purple sugar canes.
All the slicing of the sugar canes with the durian seller's strokes of deathly precision just makes you keep lookin'.
An indian kindly offered me 2 sticks of that candy and I'm very much touched by his kind gesture.
We advanced to the cows and followed what others did : Sayang the cow's head.
The scalp hair is stiff while the body hair (or do you call it fur? Haha) is silky and slightly oily.
That's for the big black cow. I guess it's the most sacred cow over at Little India cos it's very well-decorated.
And we shopped in the nearby Tekka Mall with the sticks. =)
