Reflecting back.
4 more days to POP. Never realised that this course can feel so short. Outfield exercises, like what they say, really are enjoyable and passes quickly. These 3 months taught me a lot of things spanning from social skills to personal improvement. I'm glad that the mindset I had during my JC days is slowly restoring. Maybe it did not. Maybe it's something new or modified. Physical endurance has dramatically increased i.e. pump me lah ! Heh.
This is just a short entry so the ideas here will be in bits and pieces, for those who know me well enough, you know how to link it up.
I'll definitely miss the nights in my bunk with Dominic, Alvin, Weijun, Balvinder, Zhiguang, David and of course, Chua Yeow Keng. Haha. The nights where we laugh till we sleep are numbered. Frankly speaking, this is a rare experience where you can practically laugh every night and then fall asleep. We entertain each other with our own brand of jokes ranging from 'jeeploc' bags to 'tree' dollars. To enhance the effect, we have sporting recipients of the joke no matter how embarrassing. It really is complimenting when people come into your bunk and say, " hey, your bunk is really happening, man. ". Once in a while, we have soccer matches and sparring, re-enactment of Mr Bean, imitation of Philippino Maids and fellow bunk mates. Minor punishments like pumping and prata has gel-ed most of us together as we manage to still break out into laughter when heavily punished, though we get even more of the sgts' wrath. One of the main joy generators would be Dominic and whoever his future bunkmates may be would greatly benefit from him. Apart from the happy times, some in the bunk remain rather uncooperative but that doesn't really matter, they still become the butt of the joke (that's our culture. =) ).
My health currently looks set to be sliding down soon, I predict that I'll have a fever within the coming week. =
